“Financial System Stability of Emerging Markets”

The stability of the financial system is of particular relevance to the functioning of the global economic system. Maintaining financial stability is imperative. Unstable financial systems are recipes for financial and economic crises. In this regard, the stability of financial systems of emerging markets is less understood. The objective of this conference is to bring to the fore cutting-edge research that investigates and explains what challenges are faced by emerging economies in maintaining financial system stability and what opportunities are available to these economies in optimizing the benefits from a well-developed financial system. Several issues are relevant to how well the financial system performances. Papers on all topics related to the theme, both theoretical and applied, will be of interest and are welcomed. Papers that cover broadly these areas, including but not limited to the role of:

•Commodity pricing and markets;

•Corporate Finance;

•Crowd funding and venture capital;

•Consumer Finance;

•Money and Banking;

•Regulations and macroprudential policies;

•R&D and patents; and

•Islamic goods and services,

in influencing financial system stability.

2. Submission process

The conference will be held at the Beijing over two days from July 10-11, 2020. Authors are invited to submit their research papers (in English) in word version to the following address: https://www.a-paea.org/conference-paper/add-conference-paper/21. At this site, authors will need to register by creating an account. A copy of the paper should also be sent by email at contact.apaea@gmail.com.

All papers will be reviewed and a final decision will be conveyed to submitting authors by 1 May 2020.

All papers accepted for presentation at the conference will be considered for a special issue of the journalEmerging Markets Review:https://www.journals.elsevier.com/emerging-markets-review/ (SSCI Journal, ABS 2*with Impact Factor 2.11). Papers will be reviewed following the journal’s review policy and those papers meeting quality expectations will be considered by the Editors.

The conference will open several Chinese sessions to address recent developments and challenges in the Chinese market. Papers written in Chinese are also welcome for submission to the conference but only papers written in English will be considered for the special issue publication.
